Hurricane Katrina whistleblower Dr. Ivor van Heerden announces suit against LSU for wrongful termination [video]

On Feb. 10, 2010, Professor van Heerden held a press conference in New Orleans with KMB partner David Marshall to announce his whistleblower suit against LSU.  Actor and director Harry Shearer, attorney Jill Craft, LSU faculty member Dr. Marc Levitan,  president of Levees.org Sandy Rosenthal, Mtangulizi Sanyika of the African American Leadership Project, author Jed Horne and Tulane University professor of law Oliver Houck also spoke on Professor van Heerden’s behalf.  A video containing highlights of the press conference is below.
