KMB client Chris Monteleon quoted in PBS’ Frontline report on the crash of Colgan Air 3407 [video]
March 18, 2010
PBS’ Frontline quotes FAA inspector and current KMB client Monteleon in its investigative report on the February 2009 crash of Colgan Air 3407. Mr. Monteleon tells PBS correspondent Miles O’Brien that up to the time of the crash, Colgan Air “couldn’t control…the safety part of their business” or comply with FAA regulations, and that his FAA superiors saw him as a “roadblock” when he recommended that the FAA take enforcement action against Colgan Air.
Mr. Monteleon alleges that his FAA superiors retaliated against him after he testified before the National Transportation Safety Board in March 2009 that he had continually warned his supervisors for several years about the dangers that could result from Colgan Air’s safety violations.
