Mr. Edelman, a former U.S. Supreme Court clerk, Lisa Banks, a former state Colorado Supreme Court Clerk and Appellate Specialist with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Professor Gary Peller, a constitutional law scholar, expert in torts and former federal district court clerk, have earned many appellate victories. Mr. Edelman recently prepared briefs, filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the California Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District, defending class certification orders in California wage-and-hour actions and opposing employer requests for pretrial, interlocutory review.
