KMB hosts a fund-raising reception for Farmworker Justice

KMB hosts a fund-raising reception for Farmworker Justice, a national advocacy organization that helps migrant farmworkers improve their wages, working conditions health, immigration status and access to justice through advocacy, education and litigation.  Those in attendance heard remarks from Wade Henderson, president of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights;  Bruce Goldstein, president of Farmworker Justice; and KMB partner David J. Marshall.  The event features “socially responsible” wine – i.e., wine produced by wineries having contracts with farmworkers’ unions, and proceeds go to the Shelley Davis Memorial Fund to further the work of Farmworker Justice.  Mr. Marshall serves on the Fund’s campaign committee.
