Nuts and Bolts of Employment Discrimination Law

Katz, Marshall & Banks partner Avi Kumin taught a D.C. Bar CLE course, “Nuts and Bolts of Employment Discrimination Law 2019.”

The course provided an overview of the basics of employment discrimination law.  The faculty reviewed the elements of proof under the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and more. The presenters also discussed how to establish or defend against claims of illegal practices such as disparate treatment, retaliation, harassment, and unequal pay.
