Obstacles that Plaintiff Attorneys Face in Sexual Harassment Cases

Katz, Marshall & Banks partner Debra Katz was a speaker for an American Bar Association webinar, “Barriers to Combatting Sexual Harassment In and Out of Court and Legislative Responses in the #MeToo Moment.”

The webinar addressed the obstacles that many plaintiffs face when trying to prevail on sexual harassment claims, including acting within the statutes of limitations, meeting the “severe and pervasive” legal standard, considering judicial interpretations of sexual harassment law, and more.

Ms. Katz was joined by Jessica Stender of the nonprofit Equal Rights Advocates, and the session was moderated by ABA CRSJ Council member Kristen Galles.
