US News Recognizes KMB as First-Tier Employment and Civil Rights Law Firm

2014 Best Law Firm

Katz, Marshall & Banks has once again been ranked as a First-Tier employment law firm in Washington, DC, by the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Law Firms rankings.  Katz, Marshall & Banks was also ranked as a First-Tier Civil Rights law firm.  The purpose of the rankings, according to U.S. News & World Report, is to provide a tool “to help guide referring lawyers and clients…who need an especially high level of legal work.”  Steven Naifeh, the President of Best Lawyers, said “U.S. News is the world’s leading publisher of institutional rankings based on both objective data and peer evaluations.  By combining hard data with peer reviews, and client assessments, we believe that we are providing users with the most thorough, accurate, and helpful rankings of law firms ever developed.”  The publishers of the report remark that “achieving a high ranking is a special distinction that signals a unique combination of excellence and breadth of expertise.”
