Katz, Marshall and Banks partner Debra Katz was quoted for a Forbes piece, “8 Takeaways from the Wall Street Journal CFO Network Annual Meeting.” The meeting occurred last week, and showcased business leaders, politicians, and activists who presented on issues affecting corporate leadership.
Ms. Katz discussed the effect of #MeToo on the C-Suite, explaining that it’s crucial for company leadership to take a stand in preventing and addressing sexual harassment, including being available and responsive to human resources. “You want your HR professionals to tell you the truth – don’t sugarcoat,” explains Ms. Katz.
But above all, companies should “move away from risk reduction to instilling the values of a good culture.”
