
Katz, Marshall & Banks partners Lisa J. Banks and Debra S. Katz spoke at the American Bar Association’s 9th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference on November 4-7, 2015 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Ms. Banks participated in a panel discussion entitled “Recent Developments in LGBT Issues in Employment Law,” which addressed the status of state anti-discrimination statutes after the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v. Ms. Katz facilitated a panel discussion regarding discovery abuse and sanctions in litigation and class actions, which discussed the importance of discovery in the litigation process and how incivility can be effectively addressed.
